You know, I had no idea how fast a week can go by until I started co-hosting this DIY party every Thursday. Before I can take a sip of my chilled Pinot Grigio, it’s time to choose my favourite DIY and start a new link party. Hmmm… Now that I’m thinking about it, I guess I knew this in university when assignments were due, but I musta completely repressed the memories of last-minute writing and the attendant hair loss. (Probably with some help from the fermented grapes.)
Well, here we go again! At least this time, it’s all about the paartaaaay, and I have no more hair to lose.
Let’s turn this DIY party out this week!
A Note from Your Crush
As usual, every week on DIY Crush, we have a special message from Denise. Here she is to tell you about the link party…
We’ll keep it short and sweet this week. Let’s see what favorites Domenica, Marsh and I picked from last week. Did you see the entries? If not, see last week’s party.
PLEASE spread the word about this party!! We want everyone to join!
We are always looking for a guest hosts to join us. Next up is Party #42, starting on Thursday, July 28. So if you are interested, please leave a comment with your link to your blog and your email. I’ll contact you with details.
Ready to see our favorites from last week’s party! Check them out below:
Domenica picked this great tutorial on how to sew a blanket stitch from Sewing With Kids. She posts adorable things for kids to learn!
Marsha picked this cute lemon free-motion applique by Itch To Stitch!! If you haven’t tried free motion appliqué, it’s FUN!!
My favorite post from last week is this tip on how to clean your iron without chemicals. This post is from Joy’s Jots, Shots & Whatnots. This tip is so simple, but the outcome is awesome!!
Ready to party now?? We sure are! Let’s see what you have been up to lately! It’s time to show off!
This Week’s Link Collection
///By linking up you are giving us permission to visit your blog, pin/share images from linked up post and link back to you///
What is a link party?
It’s like a weekly roundup of helpful posts. Link parties like this one are a place for bloggers to share links to their posts that fit the theme. And readers who are searching for information on that theme will be able to find several resources in one place.
DIY Crush opens a new “link-up” every Thursday evening and bloggers are invited to submit their posts. Incorrigible DIYers of all sorts can find new inspiration and tutorials for their next project by checking out the posts and articles.
How does this work?
For blog readers and inspiration seekers, all you have to do is check the listings above, or go to DIY Crush each week to see what’s been added. You can also visit the Pinterest Board where we save all the links. And then off you go to replicate what you see!
1. Please grab this image and install it somewhere on your site.* Link to www.diy-crush.com:
(or, if you’re not sure how to do that,
you can link to DIY Crush with a text link)
