Where I shop

1. Go local. For most of my supplies, I’m proud to say, I go thrifting in my neighbourhood. I love supporting the independent merchants around me.
2. Whatever I don’t find at the thrift store or mom&pop shops, I try to find in the closest hardware stores.
3. Trade with other artists and crafters in my area. I also pop into my ex’s garage for some leftover materials or duplicate tools that he forgot he bought. (He knows about this.)
4. If someone is already making a run to a big-box store, I may tag along, and end up finding something useful.
5. Online. Many are the days when I just can’t do peopling. Or changing out of my jammies feels like a complicated affair. Then I turn to the online retailers below (Some of these are merchants with whom I have an affiliate relationship.):
